Firma Plast-Lasgo has a highly modern manufacturing line for insulating glass production. This allows us to react fast and flexible to our customers wishes and also gives us confidence that the final product, the doors and the windows, are of the highest quality.
The number of sheets of glass has a great influence over the thermotechnics of the double glazing windows. If double-glazed insulating glass windows were used for a long period of time, due to the harsher legislative requirements concerning energetic efficiency of buildings, the use of triple-glazed insulating glass windows has increased. Besides upgraded Float glasses, secured glasses in double glazing glasses can also be processed.
Triple-glazed insulating glass
Triple-glazed insulating glasses have been a standard of passive houses for a long time. Also, for new conventional constructions or renovations, triple-glazed insulating glass offers certain advantages that any building owner should consider when needing to make a decision regarding what to buy. These triple-glazed insulating glasses are a good option, especially due to the following properties:
The spacer bar keeps the distance between the glasses and this defines the width of the Argon filled and insulated intermediary space. Thermix spacers or hot rod spacers consisted in a plastic insulated material with high isolation capacity, which reduces the heat loss to the minimum. Hot rod spacers prevent thermal bridges and heat losses from the edge of the double-glazed glass.
The two empty spaces in the middle are filled with Argon noble gas. This noble gas has a thermal insulation feature.
Double-glazed insulating glass
It has a much lower weight and price, and it is recommended for buildings that are not insulated at a high level. Wither air or noble gas (Argon) exists between the two double-glazed insulating glasses.
With this glass, the U value can fall between 1.1-1.3 W/m²K, depending on air/gas.
Ornamental glass
We protect your intimacy. The ornamental glass obtains its form and special surface through a lamination or sandblasting process. The glass therefore loses transparency, but this is precisely why it is very suitable for reducing visibility while ensuring the passing of light.
Secured glass
The technique of using this type of glass should be seen as a standalone system. Depending on the static needs, Float glass, partially tensioned glass (TVG) and secured glass (ESG), and laminated glass (VSG) and secured-laminated glass (ESG/VSG), respectively, can be used.
ESG features:
ESG protects against injuries and has a high resistance to breaking and a better resistance to changes of temperature, compared to normal glass (Float glass).
ESG in laminated double-glazed glass has the advantage of being much safer to shocks that Float and VSG glasses.
However, it is not fit for protection against intrusions, ESG glass breaks into small “fragments” in case of intrusions.
VSG: You live in well-lit and safe spaces!
The current trend is to opt for large areas of glass, providing a bright atmosphere and open spaces, giving the impression of dissolving the boundaries between inside and outside. VSG represents and efficient protection against burglary and vandalism. Laminated secured glass consists of two or more glasses combined through one or more PVB folios, forming a single inseparable unit. In case of breakage, the PVB folio keeps the fragments together.
Sound proof glass
Increase the comfort of your property. Sound became a daily factor of stress. Our high performant sound proof glass reduces acoustic strain and ensures maximum passing of the light – even in areas of highly sound demand, generous glazing can be achieved. Depending on the volume and frequency spectrum, various types of sound proof glasses are used many times. Plast-Lasgo offers solutions adapted to your home and work, in highly sound stress locations, providing a wide range of different types of sound proof glass.
